⏰ - Fri-Sat: 12:00 PM - 11:00 PM
⏰ - Sun: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
📷 - @theframeuk

The Frame cooks Mediterranean sharing plates over a wood and coal fired grill just off St Martin's Square. The Mezze Platter is built for the whole table, the King Prawn Pilpil arrives sizzling, and the Lamb Kofta is char-grilled to order.

Ordering "just the mezze" has never once, in recorded history, stayed at just the mezze. Bring an appetite, and someone willing to share the last flatbread, in theory.

ACTIVITY ALLEY

🎃 - Leicester Monsters - Eight Giant Beasts Have Taken Over the City Centre!
📍 - Leicester City Centre, Gallowtree Gate
📅 - Thu 22nd to Sun 25th (runs on to 31st)
⏰ - After dark
🎟️ - Free
📷 - @visitleicester

Eight giant illuminated monsters have landed around the city centre for half term, perched on rooftops and lurking round corners from Thursday. The My Leicester App turns the hunt into a prize trail for anyone who tracks down all eight.

Leicester's answer to a kaiju film, except these monsters hold still for the photo. Explaining to a four year old why there's a thirty foot beast on a rooftop is the bit nobody prepared you for.

HOUSE OF THE WEEK

Front of the house at Furrow Way, Great Glen

🏡 - A Mock Tudor Palace That Still Needs You to Mow the Lawn!
💰 - Offers Over £725,000
📍 - Furrow Way, Great Glen
🛏️ - 5 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, 2 Reception Rooms
📷 - @sheldonbosleyknight

A five bedroom detached house on the edge of Great Glen, with a double garage and enough bedrooms that every argument about whose turn it is to do the school run can happen in a different room. Three bathrooms means the usual Monday morning queue just stops happening.

A house this size comes with a mowing commitment that will outlast most New Year's resolutions made in its honour. At least there's a garage to hide the mower in afterwards.
