Beaumanor’s throwing open the gates for its annual summer fair, bringing together original art, handmade jewellery, preserves, liqueurs, and enough gift ideas to fill your Christmas list early. There’s a BBQ on the go, Pimm’s and prosecco to keep you cool, plus live music and kids’ activities including a climbing wall and archery. Set inside a stunning Victorian hall with sprawling gardens, it’s a solid excuse to spend the day outdoors.

Just off Granby Street, The Good Earth has been serving vegetarian and vegan favourites since 1965. It has a homely feel and a menu that has kept people coming back for generations. On Saturday 6th September they will be celebrating their 60th anniversary with a day of festivities, marking an incredible milestone for one of Leicester’s most-loved restaurants.

Leicester’s biggest street party is back for its 40th year, kicking off with an opening ceremony at the African Caribbean Centre before the parade winds through the city to Victoria Park. Once there, it’s a full day of live music, dance, food, funfair rides, and a Family Zone to keep little ones busy. Big sound systems, bold costumes, and a whole lot of energy.
