Things to do this week: Ginger's Flea Market, A Live 80's Night! Plus Seed Sowing Saturday!
Morning! This week’s a tidy mix of plans. Ginger’s Flea Market is your Sunday browse with rails, home bits and indie makers, Seed Sowing Saturday lets you get your hands dirty and take a pot home, and Thursday’s 80s Live is two hours of songs you already know the words to. Add in a few midweek bits like bake club, wine tasting, and a couple of fun Friday nights, and you’ve got plenty to pick from without overthinking it.

SCRUMPTIOUS SCOOP
☕️ - TOVE Coffee - Open Till Midnight, So Your “Quick Coffee” Can Turn Into A Whole Evening
📍- 183 Evington Road
📅 - Daily 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM
📷 - @tovecoffee
TOVE is open till midnight, which is dangerous if you like a late coffee and an even later sweet treat. It’s specialty coffee, ceremonial matcha, and a menu that makes self control feel optional. Grab a focaccia sandwich if you’re hungry, then immediately undo your good intentions with Nutella focaccia, because it’s basically dessert pretending to be bread. The space is clean and minimal, with a big indoor tree in the middle like it’s the main guest. Great for a long catch up, a laptop session, or a quiet evening stop.
ACTIVITY ALLEY
🎶- 80s Live - Two Dozen Anthems And a Very Real Risk Of Singing on The Way Home
📍- De Montfort Hall
📅 - Thu 5th Mar
⏰ - 7:30 PM
🎟️ - £34
📷 - @demontforthall
This is a full on 80s party show with a live band running through hit after hit, so it’s less “sit politely” and more “how am I suddenly shouting the lyrics to Tainted Love”. You’ll get a big spread of chart favourites from Wham!, Madonna, Culture Club, Rick Astley, A Ha, The Human League and more.

FRESH EXPERIENCES
🌱- Seed Sowing Saturday - Tomato Seeds, Tiny Pots, And Fresh Air
📍- 60 Heathcott Road
📅 - Sat 7th Mar

🎟️ - Free (Ticketed, booking essential)
📷 - @saffronacresproject
A family friendly session that feels useful, not just something to fill time. You’ll make biodegradable paper pots, sow tomato seeds for the site, and you can take a pot home too if you want to grow your own. Bring your tomato questions for head gardener Nicola, plus a notebook if you like taking notes. One ticket is needed for every adult and every child over 3. Dogs are not allowed unless they are assistance dogs.
