There’s a flea market full of throwback fashion and food stalls, a Witch Festival brewing potions and tarot readings, and enough ghost tours, quizzes and spooky parties to keep the skeletons busy all week. Add in live music, art fairs and bonfire nights, and you’ve got a weekend that’s more tricks, treats and tapas than anyone needs, but you’ll do it anyway.

Ginger’s Flea Market is back and it’s packed with rails of throwback fashion, cool home décor and handmade goodies from local makers. Grab a bite from the food stalls, browse a few too many candles, and argue with yourself over whether you really need another lamp. (You do.)

The Craft & Art Fair is back with more than 50 stalls from artists and makers across the region. Browse jewellery, ceramics, textiles, prints and handmade homewares while grabbing a coffee from the café. There’s even a special sale of work by the late Alan Caine, with all proceeds helping support creative spaces for disabled children and adults. A great excuse to shop local and feel good about it.
