This is the kind of tribute night that starts with you nodding politely, then ten minutes later you’re emotionally attached to Proud Mary and doing small shoulder moves like you’re warming up for Strictly. Big live band, big hit list, and a lead singer who doesn’t do the timid version. Simply The Best, Private Dancer, River Deep, Nutbush, the lot. Two halves with an interval, so you’ve got time to act calm, check your phone, then go straight back to pretending you’re “not really a singer” while absolutely singing.
